No, you don’t have to act so strong,

For I, will still your trembling shoulders;

So you, feel all the sadness inside,

And how I yearn to take them away,

Clear the clouds, and let the sun shine your way.

Hey, don’t look so down right now,

Time will wash your pain, please believe,

That you will be fine though he is gone.

Brushing a sparkling tear off your cheek,

Will you realise that I’ve been loving you all along?

Embracing you, I’ll never let you go.

Let me take your small gentle hands,

I’ll show you the road to happiness,

Love’s greatest distance,

Is not the secretly kept feeling for someone,

But becoming an unseen guardian,

Even after the proclamation of love.

(Poem) FOOTSTEPS

I want to believe what you said wasn’t true,

But the guilty look in your eyes said it’s for real.

Were all those times a lie

When you said you’d never make me cry?

I am a fool

To have given my everything to you.

You left nothing behind but misery for me,

When you uttered a simple apology.

The pain you placed on me,

Inside my soul, I caged the agony,

All for the cause that I’ve loved you deeply,

And for the reason I thought we were meant to be.

Walking in the deserted midnight street,

I decided to let those emotions flee,

But the precious feelings for you wouldn’t go

Nor would my hatred for you flow.

I know time will wash away my scars,

Is that too much for one to ask?

I can only rely on time to take them away

Even that is not, for me, fair.

Remember the suffering you’ve given me,

One day, you too will feel it.

Remember my words clearly,

Love justifies those who are worthy of it.

(POEM) Rising Sun

Standing here alone with powerless wings,

Watching this world in desperation,

I fear the advent of the awaited chaos.

Dreams which were meant to fly,

Are torn, vanishing like a burning picture.

Before me, darkness dawns,

Not even a single beam of sunlight shines.

Everyone possesses a true self,

But why do they choose to put on a mask?

In this world of lies and deception,

Tell me, where should I run and hide?

When would the pandemonium end?

Could it be that Despair is the only thing beneath Happiness?

Life is like a race on an endless track,

As if searching for an answer to an impossible question.

Life is bound to pass,

Time never stops for any soul.

Why leave behind only regrets?

Free yourself from the hatred which prisons you in solitude.

In your tears of sorrow and loneliness,

Try to believe, there is happiness worth fighting for.

Reach out your hands, even with every small effort,

You are altering your very own destiny.

Shattering all boundaries,

Charging ahead with valour,

In the garden of affliction,

Searching, I am, for my innocence.

For everything that is true and just,

I know nothing is impossible.
