(Poem) Love's Greatest Distance

Love’s greatest distance,

Is not the secretly kept feeling for someone,

But becoming an unseen guardian,

Even after the proclamation of love.

Love’s greatest distance,

Is not becoming an unseen guardian,

Even after the proclamation of love,

But the separation of two souls because of disagreements,

Even when there is still love for one another.

Love’s greatest distance,

Is not the separation of two souls because of disagreements,

Even when there is still love for one another,

But the unforgivable distance of lands

Which splits two souls tragically in love.

Love’s greatest distance,

Is not the unforgivable distance of lands

Which splits two souls tragically in love,

But the single border of life and death,

Tearing two destined souls ruthlessly apart.

Love’s greatest distance,

Is not the single border of life and death,

Tearing two destined souls cruelly apart,

But two souls who are deeply in love,

Yet stoned their hearts to not accept

The heaven-gifted feelings for one another.

A/N: I think this poem is like adapted from a chinese poem written during the Tang Dynasty. Can't remember...
